I’d be lying if I didn’t say I was born as an entertainer. But, I never would of guessed that I’d pursue my love of music and choose DJing as a career. I grew up in a household where music was played frequently and my Dad would often play tracks like “Doo Wah Diddy” or “Good Morning Vietnam” as our weekend wake up call. I fell in love with what music can do to one’s soul and spirit. I remember putting together a choreographed dance routine for company when they’d come over to the house for dinner, or setting up my red Little Tikes radio at the bus stop and putting my roller skates on to perform for the people as they waited.
When I started spinning on the 1’s and 2’s in nightclubs; the excitement, energy, and creativity I experienced behind the turntables sparked the pursuit of a new passion that has allowed me to drop good dance beats across hundreds of dance floors in the country, international, and out at sea on major cruise lines for the past 15 years.
I bring a classy style and sparkle factor to my sets and stage presence at every performance. My organic ability to interlace music across the decades and interact with the crowd leaves people waking up the next day with achy feet and an afterglow from a dang good time.
I’ve performed in bars/nightclubs, at private functions, corporate and fashion events, weddings, as well as, onboard cruise ships for major companies like Under Armour, Universal Studios Resorts, Silpada Designs, TeamGAT, Dress For Success, Betsey Johnson, as well as Disney and Celebrity Cruise Lines.
On top of getting dance floors moving, I have hosted my own weekly radio show in Hollywood, California and toured in Los Angeles and Las Vegas with a live comedy show, Arm Candy, as the MC. Last year, I was honored as the first female DJ to MC The Las Vegas DJ Show and was also named one of Cincinnati Profile’s Single & Successful of 2015. This year I had the awesome privilege of being the MC of TEDx Cincinnati and graduated with a high five from the Black Box Improv Theater.
When I’m not behind the decks or on the mic, I love to work out, dance, and drink americanos…but not simultaneously.
